Ana Hernandez-Blackstad, M.Ed.

Ana Hernandez Blackstad, a native of the United States, has been living in Prague since 2016. Her most recent position before joining AAU was Head of School for American Academy in Prague, the first American-style high school in the Czech Republic. Prior to moving to Prague, Ana served as Dean of Student Success at Bellevue College in Washington State, USA. Ana holds a Master’s degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Art from Creighton University.

When she is not working, Ana enjoys drinking coffee, trying new restaurants, cooking, and traveling the world with her husband, Joedy.
