Born in Sardinia, Italy, I have moved to the Luiss University in Rome to complete my studies. I have gained a Master in International Relations and EU Law in 1998 and have completed a post-Master course in EU Law in 1999. After some years spent in the banking sector (Milan and Parma) I came to Prague for a study program (VSE) in 2003. I have completed my PhD in Manchester (UK) with a topic on Foreign Direct Investment in the Czech Republic. I have started teaching at AAU in 2007. I have also taught in other universities including the University of Vienna, the High School of Economics in Prague and the University of Zlin.
